Peanut Butter Protein Bars


  • 3/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup organic rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup organic coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup raw chopped peanuts
  • pinch of sea salt


Pre-heat oven to 180C. In a pan on low heat melt the coconut oil and add maple syrup and vanilla essence. In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and then pour the contents of the pan into the bowl and mix through thoroughly.

Tip into a lined square baking tin and cook for approximately 20-25min. Allow to cool in the pan and then cut into small slices. (Makes 18-20)

Great as an afternoon treat!
